Angeles Araujo is a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with a strong dedication to improving the lives of children, adolescents, and families. During her time in graduate school, Angeles displayed a heartfelt commitment to making a positive impact on her community. She invested a significant portion of her studies in working with children within Title One schools, focusing on supporting both students and parents. Her passion for fostering better communication between parents and teens led her to provide invaluable guidance in a private practice setting.

Prior to joining the Lucine Center, Angeles extended her expertise to a behavioral hospital, where she played a pivotal role in running Partial Hospitalization Program and Intensive Outpatient Program groups. Her profound engagement with adolescents grappling with acute concerns showcased her ability to provide essential support during critical periods.

Angeles obtained her Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Houston and a Master’s of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Houston Clearlake.

Angeles was born in Dallas but relocated to Houston at an early age and has resided there since. In her spare time Angeles enjoys spending time with loved ones and exploring different hobbies such as indoor rock climbing or winding down with her Nintendo switch.
